ETIN seminar on IEP: Examples from Georgia and Norway

The second seminar in this series, organised by ETIN, focused on innovation-enhancing procurement (IEP). The aim was to explore different IEP approaches within the framework of third-generation innovation policy, which serves as our shared frame of reference.

The seminar, led by Jakob Lindvall and Jon Mikel Zabala-Iturriagagoitia, highlights the shared learning and collaboration between Georgia and Norway on how IEP can be used strategically. Drawing on the UNECE Handbook on IEP for Georgia from 2022 and the subsequent study visit to Norway by Georgian civil servants, the speakers reflected on their collaboration and shared insights on the main challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned.

The seminar was held in English.
